Ukraine: Vladimir Putin, Emmanuel Macron Agree To Work Towards Ceasefire But Russia Extends Military Drill In Belarus

On February 20, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron agreed to work for a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine. As per an AFP report, the phone conversation between the two leaders lasted for 105 minutes. As per a report carried by ALJAZEERA, the foreign ministers of the two countries are set to meet in the coming days. Meanwhile, Russia extended military drills in Belarus that were due to end on February 20, the Belarusian defence ministry announced as reported by ALJAZEERA. Watch the video to know more.
