The hijab controversy has now been escalated in Chennai. In the local election today, a ruckus broke out when a BJP agent stopped a woman wearing a hijab from casting his vote at the polling booth of Al-Amin School. Due to this, polling in Melur Maliyar had to be stopped. Thereafter, the DMK and AIADMK stood in protest. The workers of both parties insisted on the demand to remove BJP agent Girirajan from the booth. There was an uproar over this for a long time. Watch full video.
