Disability advocate speaks out against use of transitional care programs
  • 2 years ago
A senior disability advocate has spoken out about the use of transitional care programs to house people with disabilities after a South Australian man was left in squalid conditions in one "government run" scheme. The government insists the man's treatment has no parallels with the horrific neglect of Adelaide woman Ann Marie Smith, who was left to die at home, but Professor Richard Bruggemann disagrees.
