In a video released on Twitter ($TWTR@US), the team from Baby Doge Coin demoed a virtual avatar that was walking through Decentraland. The caption read, “Do you want to see Baby Doge in the metaverse?” It’s not known if Baby Doge can build and implement a presence in the metaverse, but the token is moving in the direction of many other tokens that are inserting themselves into the metaverse. Currently, most cryptocurrencies are managed by hype and pricing—just like stocks or other investments. However, adding utility is the of the game in the crypto industry, from P2E coins, rewards, the metaverse, and much more. Previously, Shiba Inu announced that it was launching Shiba Inu Metaverse Lands, a part of the Shiberse. Floki Inu said that it has integrated with Chainlink to create DeFi functions for token holders and the crypto industry also had a massive presence in the commercial breaks during the Super Bowl. At press time, Baby Doge Coin was up more than 5%, trading at a fraction of a penny on a rising market cap and increasing volume.
