Royal expert Rebecca English has explained why Prince Charles was determined to secure the Queen's backing for Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall to be known as Queen Consort when he becomes King. Ms English argues that the Prince of Wales was motivated out of love for his long-time partner "pure and simple." Ms English told LBC: "He loves her and this is what this is about pure and simple. "For him I think it's a matter of respect that why should she be denied being able to call herself the equivalent of Mrs Bloggs and obviously in the royal world it's Queen Consort.
