While the BSP has placed its bet on the Dalit face Kuldeep Narayan here.This time the Congress has given support to the SP by not fielding a candidate on this seat. Due to less number of candidates and fighting the elections with political fanatics, the contest has become interesting here.

यूपी की सियासत में करहल विधानसभा सीट वीआईपी सीटों में शामिल हैं.यहां तीसरे फेज में 20 फरवरी को वोट डाले जाएंगे.पूरे प्रदेश की नजरें करहल विधानसभा सीट पर टिकी हुई हैं.इस बार यहां सपा चीफ अखिलेश यादव मैदान में उतरे हैं.बीजेपी ने अखिलेश के खिलाफ केंद्रीय मंत्री और आगरा से सांसद एसपी सिंह बघेल को चुनाव मैदान में उतारा है.जबकि बीएसपी ने यहां दलित चेहरे कुलदीप नारायण पर अपना दांव लगाया है. कांग्रेस ने इस बार इस सीट पर उम्मीदवार नहीं उतारकर सपा को ही समर्थन दिया है.उम्मीदवारों की संख्या कम होने और सियासी धुरंधरों के करहल से चुनाव लड़ने के चलते यहां मुकाबला दिलचस्प हो गया है.
