Darul Uloom Deoband website to shut down after child rights panel intervenes against fatwas

The District Magistrate of Saharanpur has now issued orders directing the shutdown of the Darul Uloom Deoband website. Last month, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had written to the DM seeking action against Darul-Uloom Deoband for issuing 'fatwas' and making misleading statements on children's issues.
