Queen privately praises 'very kind' Joe Biden after US President sends heartfelt message

Mr Biden sent a congratulatory message to the Queen in the run-up to the historic Accession Day anniversary. In a clip released on Sunday, the monarch was shown the message by her private secretary Sir Edward Young. Passing a document to the Queen, Sir Edward can be heard saying: "There are some really nice comments, including one from President Biden." Her Majesty, looking at the message, replied: "That’s very kind isn’t it?" The Queen met Mr Biden for the first time in June, when they both attended a reception in Cornwall hosted by Prime Minister Boris Johnson during the G7 summit.
