Team India walked out to play the first ODI against the West Indies in Ahmedabad with a black armband in memory of the late singer, Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away at the age of 92 on Sunday.Before the start of play, the players lined up to observe a minute of silence to pay their respects to the legendary singer, who was hospitalized for nearly a month before passing away.The BCCI shared a video of the cricketers on its social media handle, with the caption: “#TeamIndia members observe a minute silence before the start of play to pay their respects to Bharat Ratna Sushri Lata Mangeshkar ji. #RIPLataJi.”
