COVID cases emerge as Tonga recovers from tsunami

Several COVID cases detected in Tonga's capital has led to a lockdown in the city. Throughout the pandemic, the south pacific nation had been able to stay-virus free by shutting its borders to the outside world. But since last month's twin natural disasters, Tonga has been forced to allow foreign ships and flights into the country to deliver much needed aid.
