This year Queen Elizabeth II marks her Platinum Jubilee, a momentous occasion that celebrates her 70 years as Head of State. The monarch will be the first in British history to reach the milestone and as such, a series of celebrations in her honour have been planned throughout the year. Two weeks ago, the Queen sat in the Oak Room at Windsor to reflect on her previous Jubilees, ahead of the anniversary of her accession to the throne.
