The Duke of Sussex has stated he spends around 45 minutes a day to meditate and has urged employers to give staff me-time to do so as well. He encouraged everyone to practice 45-minutes of working on their inner self every morning after explaining his experience of burnout pushed the royal towards meditation. Harry, who stepped away from being a working member of the Royal Family in 2020, described his experience of burnout as “burning the candle at both ends”. The Duke spoke at an online conference in his role as Chief Impact Officer of BetterUp, a mental wellness app the royal joined in March 2021.
