माघ का महीना ( month of Magha) चल रहा है. माघ के महीने में ही बसंत पंचमी (Basant Panchami) का त्योहार बहुत ही धूमधाम के साथ मनाया जाता है. 5 फरवरी (5 February) शनवार को देश भर में बसंत पंचमी का त्यौहार धूमधाम से मनाया जाएगा। मान्यता है कि इसी दिन माता सरस्वती का जन्म हुआ था। बसंत पंचमी को श्री पंचमी और ज्ञान पंचमी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। लोग अपने घरों में स्वादिष्ट पकवान और मिठाइयां बनाते हैं. इसके साथ ही बसंत के आगमन को लेकर कई जगह उत्सव भी मनाए जाते हैं, इस दिन पीले रंग का विशेष महत्व है.
