Former IPS officer Asim Arun has joined the BJP. On the other side, Rajeshwar Singh, an IPS officer and former Joint Director with the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The star officer who has worked with the Uttar Pradesh Police and the ED for more than 24 years, is expected to fight the UP assembly elections on BJP's ticket.
