'Kisan Drones' to be promoted for crop assessment: Budget

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday announced the Union Budget 2022 in Parliament. It is her fourth Budget after 2019, 2020, and 2021. In the budget, FM Nirmala Sitharaman did big announcements for the agriculture sector. She stated that the use of Kisan Drones to be promoted for crop assessment, digitization of land records, spraying of insecticides and nutrients. Also. funds to be facilitated through NABARD to finance startups for agriculture and rural enterprise, relevant for farm produce value chain. Watch this video.
