Let's introduce you about Mukhtar Alam, the first foreigner getting Saudi citizenship. You will also see some beautiful Calligraphic work of great Mr Mukhtar Alam in this video.
Mukhtar Alam is basically from Bengla Desh and was born in 1382 AH. He is the chief calligrapher of the kiswa of the Holy Kaaba at the kiswa factory in Makkah. His calligraphy has featured in many international exhibitions and forums and he is a well-respected calligraphy teacher himself. His works have been acquired by several political leaders and displayed in a number of public institutions. He was fond of calligraphy since childhood. It was a dream to have the honor of being the calligrapher of the shroud of the Kaaba. From a very young age he was obsessed with calligraphy. When he entered primary school, he showed extraordinary interest in calligraphy. When he was in the fourth grade of primary school. Not only he was sound in his skill but also trained his fellows. Chose the field of art training in the university. After graduation, he did his MA and M.Phil in the relevant field from Umm Al-Qura University. The calligrapher of the shroud of the Kaaba has more than forty years of calligraphy experience. Shrouds have been attached to the Kaaba factory in Makkah for twenty years. He is an expert in all kinds of calligraphy and has received many awards. Has conducted various training courses in calligraphy at homeland and abroad. He is also a registered calligraphy trainer. There is no end for him and his family to the joy of getting Saudi citizenship. He was grateful to the leadership for this honor. Upon hearing the news of Saudi citizenship, the family started crying with joy. All four of his daughters were born in Saudi Arabia. There is no place for their happiness on it. His one daughter is also an expert in calligraphy and is teaching its courses also. May he and his family be blessed in both worlds. Amin
