Tropical Storm Ana Devastates Mozambique, Malawi, Madagascar as Hundreds of Thousands Displaced

At least 75 people have died, and lakhs displaced in Southern African countries as Tropical Storm Ana lashed the continent. Torrential rains lashed Malawi and Mozambique before the storm made landfall in Madagascar. 48 people have died in Madagascar as of Thursday while Mozambique reported 18 killed and 11 had died in Malawi. Madagascar announced a state of emergency as infrastructure was crippled and rescue teams struggled to cope with the scale of disaster.
