The Residents Have Opposed The New Development Terming It As A Health Hazard To Them And A Threat To The Peaceful Coexistence In The Center Located Along The Naivasha-Kirima Road. In The Last Couple Of Months, The Investor Has Embarked On The Process Of Rehabilitating A Residential Home Into A Funeral Home To The Concern Of Area Residents. Currently, Naivasha Has One Private Mortuary And Mourners Have For Years Relied On The Naivasha Sub-County Hospital Mortuary Which Also Serves Residents Of Nyandarua And Narok. During A Public-Participation Meeting, The Residents In Unison Rejected The New Proposal And Called On The Investor To Instead Come Up With Another Project.
