"Without thinking anything, we had to rush downstairs," said Nanda Chavan, a resident of the Kamla building that caught fire in Mumbai's Tardeo on Saturday, 22 January. Several politicians have visited the site where at least six people have lost their lives. ​It is alleged that hospitals refused to admit the victims initially.
