Just 20 days before the first phase of voting in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal alliance has suffered a major setback in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Avtar Singh Bhadana, the joint candidate of SP-RLD from Jewar seat, has announced not to contest, he has withdrawn his nomination, Indervir Singh Bhati has been made the candidate in his place.
