On January 19, poll results for 106 nagar panchayats in Maharashtra were announced. As per a NDTV report, it seems that Sharad Pawar's NCP will form the panchayat in 25 areas. BJP will form the panchayat in 24 areas and the Congress party will form the panchayat in 18 areas. The Shiv Sena will form the panchayat in 14 areas. Congress, the NCP and the Shiv Sena are part of Maharashtra's ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi. BJP won 416 of 1,802 seats. NCP won 378 seats, Shiv Sena won 301 and the Congress party won 297. This means that the Maha Vikas Aghadi has 976 seats. The combination has won 57 semi-urban local bodies while the BJP has won 24. Watch the video to know more.
