A daredevil performed a ‘snowmobile drive-by’ on a residential street in Ottawa after a record-breaking snowstorm.

The record-setting snowfall has been affecting Ottawa since early this week, causing hazardous conditions in the Canadian capital.

The severe blizzard has prompted those in the city to get creative in the historic snow.

Resident Courtney captured the moment from inside her home on Monday (17/01).

She said: “Snow day bingo card! Skidoo drive by on a quiet, residential street - check!”

Although Ottawa is used to sizable amounts of snow, residents reported that most roads were only cleared enough for one car.

The weather agency initially placed Ottawa under an emergency blizzard warning. It was later downgraded to a winter storm.
