The hospitalization rate and requirement of oxygen in this ongoing third wave is quite less compared to the earlier waves. Informing the same, Odisha Health Services Director, Bijay Mohapatra on Tuesday (Jan 18) said that at present, general bed occupancy is 9 per cent, ICU occupancy stands at 15 per cent, while ventilator occupancy is 5-6 per cent.
