On January 17, three people were killed as a suspected drone attack blew up petrol tanks near an oil storage facility in Abu Dhabi. Two Indian nationals were among those killed in the attack in the capital of United Arab Emirates (UAE). Reportedly, six people were left injured. The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack. The ministry said that those responsible for this unlawful targeting will be held accountable. Visuals shared on Twitter showed a thick plume of black smoke rising high into the clouds. Reportedly, Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi movement took responsibility for the attack.
