The preparations of the Election Commission for the elections in UP are almost complete. The commission is busy finalizing the remaining preparations. Along with this, the commission has declared 73 assembly seats in UP as sensitive. This time 35 seats are more than the 38 seats declared sensitive in the 2017 assembly elections. The assembly seats which have been declared sensitive regarding elections here include caste violence and violence during the anti-CAA-NRC agitation.

यूपी में चुनाव को लेकर निर्वाचन आयोग की तैयारियां करीब करीब पूरी है. बाकी बची तैयारियों को आयोग अंतिम रूप देने में लगा है.इसके साथ ही आयोग ने यूपी में 73 विधानसभा सीटों को संवेदनशील घोषित किया है.साल 2017 में हुए विधानसभा चुनाव में संवेदनशील घोषित की गई 38 सीटों से इस बार 35 सीटें ज्यादा हैं.आयोग ने यहां चुनाव को लेकर जिन विधानसभा सीटों को संवेदनशील घोषित किया है, उनमें जातीय हिंसा और सीएए-एनआरसी के विरोध में हुए आंदोलन के दौरान हुई हिंसा भी शामिल है.
