A man climbed onto the façade of the BBC in London to try to tear down the Prospero and Ariel sculpture that was made by the controversial Eric Gill in the 1930s.
Gill's works have become a great debate due to the details he left in his diary of sexual abuse of his daughters, sisters and even his dog.
"The BBC does not endorse the views or actions of Eric Gill. We believe that the right thing to do is for people to have such discussions. We do not believe that the right approach is to damage the artwork itself," commented representatives of the BBC
