Massive Wallet Attack Strokes Saitamask

Saitama Inu launched its new SaitaMask application on Sunday, but the app faced what has been called a “massive bot attack” not long after its launch. When Saitama Inu took to Twitter ($TWTR@US) to explain what happened, it said that it was restricting access to the app to mitigate the attack. The attack appears to have targeted the sign-up API, which caused some disruption to the app itself. Some users also said that their tokens were stolen after they signed into the app. While the new SaitaMask app was designed to give customers an easier and safer place to store their crypto holdings, but this attack makes for bad press and a scary opening for a much-anticipated wallet app. Even as Saitama Inu hopes to make meme coins more legitimate in the minds of investors, this isn’t its first issue, including whale manipulation and incorrect data displays. Over the last 24 hours, Saitama Inu has dropped over 9% and fallen an astounding 35% over the past 7 days.
