In a setback to the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, Minister of labor, employment, and coordination Swami Prasad Maurya has resigned from the Yogi cabinet on Tuesday ahead of high-stakes assembly elections. Minister Maurya submitted his resignation to the state Governor via email. Also, the hard copy of his resignation was sent by BJP MLA from Shahjahanpur Roshanlal on his behalf.
