The third wave of Covide-19 sweeping the country has seen India’s daily caseload jump into lakhs of cases. Among the political class, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s family has tested positive for the virus. BJP MP Varun Gandhi took to social media to reveal that he too has contracted the virus. Last week, Union ministers like Bharati Pravin Pawar and Mahendra Nath Pandey, along with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tested positive for Covid-19, among other leaders.
