This is the harshest period of winter in Kashmir. During a situation when movement is next to impossible in the valley, a woman suffered labor pain. The family members had no means of taking her to the hospital amidst so much snow. Army personnel came to their help and carried the woman on their shoulder to the hospital where she gave birth to the child.
