There has been a big change in the election of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, BJP has won the election of mayor, BJP's Sarabjit Kaur has been elected as the new mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, the presiding officer has 14 votes for BJP and AAP ( 13 votes declared for Aam Aadmi Party. Whereas, one vote was declared invalid. A total of 28 votes were cast for the mayoral election. Despite being a big party in Chandigarh, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) could not win the mayor's election.

चंडीगढ़ नगर निगम (Chandigarh Municipal Corporation) के चुनाव में बड़ा उलटफेर हुआ है, मेयर का चनाव बीजेपी ने जीत लिया है, BJP's Sarabjit Kaur Chanadigarh Mayor चुनी गई हैं,पीठासीन अधिकारी ने बीजेपी के लिए 14 वोट और आप (Aam Aadmi Party) के लिए 13 वोट घोषित किए. जबकि, एक वोट को इनवैलिड करार दिया गया. मेयर चुनाव के लिए टोटल 28 वोट पड़े थे. चंडीगढ़ में बड़ी पार्टी होने के बावजूद आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) मेयर का चुनाव नहीं जीत पाई.
