WA has recorded one new local case of COVID-19 with an announcement expected tomorrow on whether the current mask restrictions in place across Perth and the Peel region will be extended. It comes as the state government confirms a plan to monitor some COVID-positive patients at home to ease hospital pressure, once the border re-opens on February 5.
