Northern territory set for ‘Territory-wide lockout’ as restrictions tighten for unvaccinated

The Northern Territory has recorded 256 new cases of COVID-19, including 27 cases of community transmission, it is the highest daily record for the jurisdiction to date. Territory-wide, there are 23 people with COVID-19 in hospital and two in the ICU, Chief Minister Michael Gunner says, “today's escalation in case numbers is concerning" and a territory-wide lockout will be in place from 1pm today until midday on Monday.
