From 1 January to 30 June 2022, France holds the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Within the European Union, the civil service is a competence of the Member States, each of which has different models, but exchanges regularly within structured networks.
Historically very active on the European scene, the DGAFP will also be leading the work of the European Public Administration Network (EUPAN) during this period, which brings together the 27 Member States of the European Union and the European Commission. At the same time, it will also chair the employers' representative association within the framework of the sectoral committee for European social dialogue.
