Kanpur's perfume trader Piyush Jain has been taken to Kanpur's Ursula Hospital for medical examination after his arrest on charges of tax evasion. After the medical checkup, Piyush Jain will be produced in the Kanpur court. Notably, the Income Tax Department and Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) raided the premises of Piyush Jain on Friday, after which he has been arrested. After 120 hours of investigation and 50 hours of interrogation, Piyush Jain was arrested. During the investigation, 16 valuable property documents were found at Piyush Jain's house.
