Opposing Karnataka's anti-conversion bill, Archbishop of Bengaluru Peter Machado told The Quint that the Christian community is hurt that the BJP government passed the bill in the Legislative Assembly on 23 December. The community has been targetted by attacks and can face similar challenges in the future too because of the bill, he said.
