Predominant strain in India is Delta: ICMR on Covid

While addressing a Press Conference in Delhi over the Covid-19 situation in the country, Director General of Indian Council of Medical Research (IMCR), Dr Balram Bhargava said that the predominant strain in India is Delta including the recently identified clusters.
“Therefore, we need to continue with the same strategy of Covid appropriate behaviour and ramping up of vaccination,” he added.
