In the year 2022, assembly elections are going to be held in five states including UP, Punjab, Uttarakhand. In view of the elections, the rallies of political parties are continuing. But in view of the increasing cases of Omicron, the Allahabad High Court has appealed to postpone the elections. A division bench of Shekhar Kumar Yadav has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Election Commission to postpone the assembly elections to be held in the next few months. The court has also appealed to stop the rallies.

साल 2022 में यूपी, पंजाब, उत्तराखंड समेत पांच राज्यों में विधानसभा चुनाव होने वाले हैं..चुनाव को देखते हुए पॉलिटिकल पार्टीज की रैलियां लगातार जारी हैं.लेकिन ओमिक्रॉन के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए इलाहबाद हाईकोर्ट ने चुनाव टालने की अपील की है.जस्टिस शेखर कुमार यादव की खंडपीठ ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और चुनाव आयोग से अगले कुछ महीनों में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनावों को स्थगित करने के लिए आग्रह किया है.कोर्ट ने रैलियों को रोकने की अपील भी की है.
