Plumbers Cutting Plugged Sewer Pipe Explodes

Occurred on December 10, 2021 / Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
: Plumbing job gone wrong. Had a plugged sewer at an apartment building near a local mall in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We went to break up the floor and replace the part of the pipe that was plugged. It was under so much pressure that when we started to cut the pipe it started to explode all over the room and all over me and my coworker.
