Amid uproar over two deaths due to alleged sacrilege attempts in Punjab, Congress leader Sunil Jakhar on December 20 said that attempts to destabilise Punjab are being made from across the border. Speaking to ANI, the Congress leader said, “I condemn it but also urge that we should be calm and prudent. I believe attempts to destabilise Punjab are being made from across the border.” Sunil Jakhar appealed to hand over the accused for interrogation so that root of such issues can be ascertained and action can be taken.
