Rangji Temple is one of the most revered temples and is dedicated to honor Lord Vishnu in his avatar of Rangji. It was constructed in 1823 and attracts tourist and devotees from South India and other places in the country. Pushkar is a town in the Ajmer district in the state of Rajasthan, India. Pushkar is one of the oldest cities of India. It lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. Pushkar has many temples. The most famous among all is the Brahma Temple built during the 14th century AD. In olden times the people who took a holy dip at Pushkar were relieved from all the sins and went to heaven after their death by the grace of Lord Brahma.
