On December 16, Lok Sabha witnessed adjournments over the opposition’s demand for removal of Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni. Ajay Mishra’s son, Ashish Mishra is an accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. The Congress, Trinamool Congress and others occupying the opposition’s seat occupied the Well of the House shouting slogans against the minister, demanding his removal. Rahul Gandhi was continuously interrupted by the speaker of the House as he demanded the dismissal of Ajay Mishra. Speaker Om Birla said Gandhi should ask his listed question. On October 3, eight people were killed at Lakhimpur Kheri during a farmers' protest. The BJP government has not taken any action against the minister till now. Watch the video to know more.
