The body of Group Captain Varun Singh was brought to Bhopal on Thursday. Where he was given a guard of honour. After which the army officers including Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to him. On this occasion, the Chief Minister has announced a Samman Nidhi of one crore rupees to the kin of the martyr. Varun Singh, who was injured in a helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, lost the battle for life in the hospital.

Group Captain Varun Singh का पार्थिव शरीर गुरुवार को भोपाल लाया गया. जहां उन्हें गार्ड आफ आनर दिया गया. जिसके बाद मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री Shivraj Singh Chouhan समेत सेना के अधिकारियों ने उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की. इस मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री ने शहीद के परिजनों को एक करोड़ रुपये की Samman Nidhi देने की घोषणा की है. तमिलनाडु के कुन्नूर में हुए helicopter crash में जख्मी हो गए थे वरुण सिंह ने अस्पताल में जिंदगी की जंग हार गए.
