Kent MP on trial after allegedly hiding 2015 General Election expenses

Kent MP Craig Mackinlay and two former aides have appeared in court today accused of hiding spending in the 2015 General Election campaign.
During the campaign the South Thanet MP fought against then UKIP leader Nigel Farage. The trial started today at Southwark Crown Court as he faces charges relating to election expenses claims.
