Chatham and Aylesford MP Tracey Crouch is calling on the government to create a new independent regulator for the English game.

It comes as she helped lead a review into the how the sport is run, after the collapse of Bury two years ago, as well as opposition to the European Super League,

She says a review is necessary for the long-term financial stability of the professional game.
