At the launch of his book, Capturing Hope, at a bookstore in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad predicted that the next general election will be held in the middle of next year. He also said the election will be “extremely important” for voters to rid of poor governance.
