Vitalant Prescott Holiday Heroes Blood Drive & Holiday Blood Needs

Additional blood donors are needed during the winter months, a time when Arizona’s population increase makes it difficult to meet patient blood needs. Two blood drives are coming up. The Prescott Holiday Heroes Blood Drive is Fri-Sun, December 10-12 from 12pm to 5pm at Prescott Gateway Mall. The Saving Arizona Blood Drive takes place on Sunday, Jan 2nd from 7am to 1pm at Tempe Center for the Arts. Vitalant is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S. Every day, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,300 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives.
