Covid: Over 10,000 active cases in Kerala and Maharashtra, says Health Ministry

Overall positivity rate stands at 0.73 % in the country in last week as per Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry.
On December 10, while addressing a press conference, Lav Agarwal said, “Kerala accounted for more than 52% of the total new cases in the country. For the last 14 days, less than 10 thousand cases are being registered daily. There are two states in the country where there are more than 10,000 active cases. That is Kerala and Maharashtra. Kerala has 43% active cases in the country.”
Approximately 10.7% of active cases are from Maharashtra, he further informed.
