Travala.com, the crypto-friendly travel platform, announced on Tuesday that it will start accepting Shiba Inu as a payment method for its travel products in 230 countries worldwide. In fact, 82% of the firm’s bookings last month were paid for with cryptocurrencies. This follows announcements from Newegg ($NEGG@US) and AMC Entertainment ($AMC@US) that they will also accept Shiba Inu as a form of payment. In addition to accepting Shiba Inu, Travala has a native token—AVA—that performs well on its own. Travala’s token is down nearly 3% in the past 24 hours, with a market cap nearing $100 million. Travala reported $7.2 million in revenue in November, nearly a 700% increase year-over-year. At press time, the token was trading at $1.82, down over 4% after falling from a weekly high of $2.39.
