Elephant Herd Wreaks Havoc In Odisha, Villagers In Panic

For the last few days, a herd of elephants is wreaking havoc in several villages under Banarpal block of Odisha’s Angul district. The herd comprising over 40 elephants destroyed crops and reportedly damaged several houses in some villages. The death of a man recently in an elephant attack has left villagers in a state of panic. The forest officials are necessitating all possible measures to drive away the herd back to the forests.
